Hi Aileen,
Thank you so much for your response to my feedback.
I have definitely taken it all on board and you certainly know how to put things in a different perspective for me to ponder.
You are right that I am stuck in my grief.
I didn’t know how to get away from it.
I just dammed it up and then it kept breaking through when it got too much.
I see now that I need to let it all go so it’s not consuming me.
I will try both of your suggestions.
I will concentrate on just thinking positive things and keep hope.
Thank you,
Jess Meares
Update!
I feel as though I have had a break through recently and I am feeling joy again even though I miss Pirli like my right arm still.
I have been doing a lot of riding with the two horses I have in work at the moment and I’m enjoying them for who they are and not comparing them to Pirli anymore.
I still cry for the unfairness of it sometimes but I know I did the right thing by him and that he is with me in spirit in quiet moments of reflection and when I’m galloping up a hill on Imby or Kenar.
I think often of him and the happy time I spent with him.
Thank you again.
